MEET the
FOUNDER
David Morgan, known as Mestre Gaivota, is a former bare-knuckle karate fighter who discovered Capoeira on a transformative trip to Brazil. Captivated by its blend of dance, acrobatics, and music, he immersed himself in the art and founded the Afro Brazilian Cultural Center of New Jersey.
